About The Project

Our idea for Bomb It was to make a game with a core mechanic that required very simple input while also allowing for some iteration.

After creating a prototype, we felt that it had lots of potential so we reached out to publishers and as we expected, we quickly got a deal.

The publisher gave us the green light to further develop the project and so we did, launching the game in the USA and Canada for market testing and CPI analytics. The results weren't as optimal as we wished so we decided to stop allocating time and resources on this project.

My Role In The Project

  • Fast Prototyping

    I was responsible for the fast prototyping of the initial concept behind this game.

  • Gameplay Programming

    I implemented all the gameplay and any other inexistent system that was necessary for this project.

  • Game Design

    Alongside my team, I was part of all the game design process behind this game.

  • Level Design

    I was responsible for designing, implementing and fine-tuning the levels.

  • 3D Art

    Using external tools I modelled 3d models that were required for the prototype and final iteration of the project.

  • Shaders

    I implemented custom shaders for gameplay visuals (e.g. the gradient skybox).

  • VFX

    I was responsible for the visual effects and feedback that spruce up the game feel.
